Whats E=mc^2? Well today, you are going to find out. A couple of weeks ago, I was watching this video on YouTube about the efficiency of black holes in creating mass into energy. It was all about the equation e=mc^2. I always thought what the equation was very complex but after watching the video, I understood the meaning behind the famous equation. What it means? So to keep it simple, E is energy; m is mass, and c is the speed of light squared! So, Albert Einstein said that energy equals the mass times the speed of light squared! That means that a 5 kg cat is enough to power the country of Norway for 2 years. That much energy from a 5 kg cat is really big. But sadly, we can’t harness 100% of the mass. The best method of getting energy from mass only gets about 0.000007% of the energy from the mass of the object. To get energy from mass really efficiently, there are 4 ways: 1. Chemical reaction 2. Why don't we just crash all the waste that we made into the sun? It sounds a really good idea to take all the nuclear waste or any waste into the sun, right? The truth is it is harder to crash into the sun than to go to Pluto! Ask how? Reason #1 Well, this all has to do with the fact that the earth is spinning at a speed of 1000 miles per hour (1600 kilometers per hour). So, if you want to get to the sun, you have to go 1000 miles backward and then go to the sun. Just to show you how fast 1000 miles per hour, it is about 16.67 miles per second! So, get to get to the sun, you need to go 16.67 miles per second backward, and then go to the sun. Today, I am going to tell you about Black Holes, an interesting topic which I love and hope you will too. What are Black Holes? Basically, Black Holes are things that bend space-time extremely and create an area that nothing escapes. Like not even light! The last spot you can be as close to the black hole and not be caught is called the event horizon. It's kind of like a border to the black hole. Hi everyone who is reading this blog, Today in my post, I am going to talk about what my family did during Hurricane Harvey that happened in Houston, TX, USA. Hurricane Harvey was really devastating for the people in Houston but luckily, we didn't get affected. But, It was really scary because on the memorial day flooding in 2015, our house got flooded and the bed in my room got socked in water. The memorial day flooding was much smaller than the Hurricane Harvey flooding. To make sure that we are safe, we took all the stuff laying around on the floor and kept them in the closet. We also moved all the tables and mattresses to the room farthest away from the flood-prone area. I was really scared and there were also these constant tornado warnings that kept going off. At first, we were really scared but after like the 5th warning, it was to the point where we started to expect them, and eventually, we just ignored them. My winter trip to San Antonio Happy New year to everyone Today is the day that I came back from San Antonio. On Dec. 28, we started on a trip to San Antonio    It was a 3 hour trip from here. On the way, we passed the Main Event Entertainment And we headed to my friend's house in San Antonio He had this really cool thing that kind a surprised me. It was that he had a howerboard But, he wouldn't give it to me  And then, we all went to the Main Event Entertainment. There, we played the arcade games and came back home and slept.
