H-town in Despair. Massive Hurricane hits Houston - Hurricane Harvey
Hi everyone who is reading this blog, Today in my post, I am going to talk about what my family did during Hurricane Harvey that happened in Houston, TX, USA. Hurricane Harvey was really devastating for the people in Houston but luckily, we didn't get affected. But, It was really scary because on the memorial day flooding in 2015, our house got flooded and the bed in my room got socked in water. The memorial day flooding was much smaller than the Hurricane Harvey flooding. To make sure that we are safe, we took all the stuff laying around on the floor and kept them in the closet. We also moved all the tables and mattresses to the room farthest away from the flood-prone area. I was really scared and there were also these constant tornado warnings that kept going off. At first, we were really scared but after like the 5th warning, it was to the point where we started to expect them, and eventually, we just ignored them.
